Jivamukti is a blend of flowing movement and alignment, including music, from chants to modern music. The student is guided through the practice with verbal instructions and physical adjustments, creating a spiritually enriched experience beyond just exercise.  The structure of classes often include chanting, a lecture, Sun Salutations, a standing series and inversions with a different philosophical theme from ancient teachings. It's a holistic method that integrates the body (asana), mind and spirit through flowing sequences with chanting, philosophy and a focus on a compassionate lifestyle.
