Dear fellow Yogis, I hope this finds you well and the transition into Autumn is going smoothly for you. Jax here, well done for finding this page, the following information will make it on to the home page soon...!

I'd like to let you know, I have made the decision to retire from teaching regular Yoga and Body Method classes at the end of January 2026. You may have noticed notifications to say I planned to change my teaching schedule from next year so shortened the expiry dates on my pricing plans, apologies for not letting you know sooner but several factors needed confirming before I could make an official announcement. you may still see me covering the occasional class and maybe I’ll teach a workshop one day… but the plan is, after twenty-three years of teaching, to reconnect with my own practice, spend more time with my family and attempt to visit as many places on my destination bucket list as possible!

This leads me to my beloved Lotus Loft. I am absolutely delighted to announce that the studio will be placed in the capable hands of Nikki Cassap from 2nd February 2026. Nikki teaches Sivananda, Vinyasa and Jivamukti classes, immersions and teaching development sessions. She also facilitates Teacher Training Courses and retreats in the UK and abroad. She has been practicing and teaching Yoga for nearly twenty years and has become an integral part of the studio so is perfectly suited to continuing and sharing the ethos of the Lotus Loft. Nikki will be taking over the teaching of all but one of my classes from the beginning of February next year, we will share the new schedule as soon as possible.

I will cherish the memories of our time together, the laughter attempting a challenging pose, the balances in particular, to the collective peace at the end of each class. I am blessed to have met and spent time with such wonderful like-minded people. So many of you continued to support and practice with me in the days of covid by joining me online, how quickly we learnt how to use Zoom! I will be forever grateful as your continued dedication was responsible for keeping the Lotus Loft alive during and after that difficult time.

While I will no longer be teaching regularly, please continue to practice, embrace your yoga journey and experience the guidance of different teachers. Yoga is the path to stillness and peace, even at the busiest time, the pause button we need to press frequently. I wish you all my love and gratitude and will miss you dearly! Jax
